Pendant

The Qashqai nomads houses are full of soul and emotion. The enthusiasm of Qashqai people for happy colors can be seen everywhere in their homes.

Qashqais use lots of colors in their home appliances. They use colored pendants (Gompols) in their entrance rooms or kitchens. These pendants are made with a two meters long woolen thread and Gompols are installed at a distance of 20 cm from each other on it. Numbers of them connect to the entrance gate or on the wall. This gives a beautiful effect to the house and removes its soullessness.
